Call for people aged 50 and over to contact the NHS for their COVID-19 vaccination
Posted on 28 May 2021
The surgery has worked extremely hard to contact every patient over the age of 50 to offer them a Covid vaccination and NHS England has now noted that any patient over the age of 50 who still has not been vaccinated against Covid-19 can contact the NHS themselves to arrange one. Please note that this does NOT apply to any patients who are housebound who will be contacted directly by this surgery. For more information, please
People in this group should book their vaccination through the National Booking Service which allows patients to choose a time slot and location that suits them. Anyone unable to book online can call 119 free of charge, anytime between 7am and 11pm seven days a week. GP teams have been asked to contact their clinically extremely vulnerable patients, who have been asked to shield, to ensure they have been offered the vaccine.
