National Carers Week, free events for carers

A week of support, information and connection for unpaid carers.

Monday

Finances - Monday 8th June

Come to our drop in with the Local Support Fund Team , offering personalised benefit checks and help with financial support and entitlements

Location - Room 5 and 6 Canada Water Library , 21 Surrey Quays Road, London
SE16 7AR, from 11am to 3pm.

Tuesday

Mental Wellbeing - Tuesday 9th June

Through the process of crafting your own candle, you’ll be guided through simple mindfulness practices that encourage calm, presence and reflection, sign up on eventbrite (20 spaces available)

Wednesday

Health - Wednesday 10th June

Come to our Health check Drop in and receive your vital 5 health check, social prescribers will be sharing information on services that support with social issues related to health.

Location - Salvation Army Church in Nunhead, 217a Gordon Road, SE15 3RT @ 11am to 1.30pm

Thursday

Emergency Planning - Thursday 11th June

Join the Mobilise LIVE event: Contingency Planning, learn how to update your NHS Universal Care Plan with your ‘Carer Contingency’

Location - online workshop from 12pm to 1pm.

Friday

Community & Connection - Friday 12th June

Come along to our Carer Community Lunch & Bingo for a hot meal and some light fun.

Location - Southwark Resource Centre, Hitard Court, 10 Bradenham Cl, SE17 2QB at 12.30 to 2.30pm
